As fallible humans, do we have free will or bound will? We have free will, but that doesn't mean that our actions will affect an outcome that we desire. Micah is a good example, many other Biblical examples.

There will be no atheist on judgment day. I know the Lord says he will reveal himself to every man, I know what John 3:36 says, I know we should rejoice on full daily wage regardless of what time a person comes to work in the vinyard.

God is not in control in the sense that he decides everything that happens. There is evil in this world that works against the will of God. God has given this earth to man, and man is in control of deciding to choose good or evil until God takes it back and destroys evil.
As a Christian your job isn't to accept every evil thing as somehow God's will, but to trust God to be your good Shepard and deliver you when the evil comes.

Great post Irish. Here are some Scriptures that God is Sovereign. He knows the future well before we get there and He has established His plan. “remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’” Isaiah 46:9-10 ESV https://www.bible.com/59/isa.46.9-10.esv
Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain. - Hosea 10:12

We assign a lot of horizontal, earthy emphasis to a lot of things that were promised in a vertical, heavenly context.
Ask Job if God was in control. Absolutely He was, but my point is I think we usually use the phrase, "Don't worry, God is in control" to mean, "Don't worry, good things will happen because God won't let something bad happen if He's in control."
If you have a certain eschatological persuasion, you'll already expect things are gettting worse, not better. And many don't suppose America is a geo-political fixture in end times (all conjecture, but plausible), so it's not unrealistic that something has happened to America anyway to remove it. I've long supposed that America will ultimately crumble economically, which will logically happen under Democrat rule, so I'm surprised every time a Republican is elected anyway.
I'm not saying God isn't involved or interested in your horizontal, but that the horizontal doesn't matter in the context of God's sovereign control. I think scripture would show the right understanding is, "Even if Biden is elected and the whole earth melts into a fiery cesspool of socialism, God is in control and you'll be in His Kingdom ultimately."

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

God has a perfect will - one that mankind's free will can never affect. And , He has a permissive will - in which man can choose to go outside of God's desired plan. But mankind expressing our free will can never affect God's perfect will. He is in control and He is going to ordain whichever candidate that wins today. Scripture tells us that all earthly authorities are ordained by Him. (Romans 13). Sometimes those authorities are put in place to execute God's judgment and sometimes they are put in place to liberate his people. Only time will tell which we are going to get, but both are put in place by God.

Well put. Scripture assures us that our ultimate problem is already solved. In fact, 1 Peter instructs us to actually expect earthly suffering. It provides a more intimate relationship with our savior. Like Gold that has been through the fire and had impurities burned off.

He raised up Pharaoh for the very purpose to bring him to ruin to display His power, so yeah He’s in control. Trump or Biden, He’s still sovereign.

As I told my son this morning. nothing can catch God off guard.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

And none of us know His timetable. Christ may come back very soon, or it may be far into the future, but we know that ultimately He will win. If this life were all that there is, then we could say that the things that happen to us are not fair. But since this life is not all there is, nobody can make that judgment.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

God IS in control. No matter the outcome of tonight or whenever its decided GOD IS CONTROL.
No good decision was ever made from a swivel chair.

I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:10
