I would say depends on how many are going to hunt it. Keep hunter numbers low. Put tripods on top the hills and get ready! Years 3,4 and 5 will be the best. After that it will start getting to thick to see a long way. Right after a clear cut you can see all the terrain features and it will be easier to predict where the deer are moving. But I would have to say one of the biggest factors in your success would be depending on what your neighbors are doing. Since you have no bedding area most of "your" deer will be living somewhere else and only crossing your land for a now.
