One of my nephews plays for Guntersville. I went last night and watched them curb stomp Boaz. My nephew plays linebacker. He's the smallest kid on the defense but he plays with a big chip on his shoulder. I imagine the Boaz tailback had nightmares of number 34 last night. Ben de-cleated him multiple times. I love watching a good HS team play ball.

Thompson beat Hoover last night 39-23. Thompson has now won 5 of the last 7 games against Hoover. Mark Freeman has done a remarkable job turning the Thompson program around in his six years as coach.

Yeah, we lucked out and cullman beat mushoals and gave us 3rd in region. We go to briarwood now instead of mtn brook/oak mtn (whichever is 6a...i forget).
