Not exactly what I was after. Killed him walking back to my 4-wheeler this morning after my hunt.He was stretched out across the trail getting a little sun. The grass is about knee deep where he way laying and I got within 5 or 6 feet before I saw him. Glad I didn't run into him before daylight. Be careful!

That makes me not want to hunt. I've already seen two chicken snakes this year. One on my stick ladder at tree stand. I just glad it was a evening hunt or I would have grabbed him.
