I need a hunting buddy, do most of you bow hunt alone? I've leased and organized clubs for the last 10 years and ended up with over 3000acres of beautiful buck country. We have a total of 15 members and for the last two weeks its been just ME, which is AWESOME but sometimes lonely. How do you guys hunt?

I dont mind hunting by myself but its always better to have a hunting buddy for the fact of safety just having somebody out there with you and just having somebody to share the memories with when u stick a big one.

If I lived closer to Montgomery, I'de help you out. There's alot of folks on here from that area that would enjoy a hunt or 2 I'm sure. Good luck & be careful if you hunt by yourself.

I know what you mean. My oldest son normally bow hunts with me but dislocated his shoulder so he is out for the season.

Will you still bow hunt during gun season. All I do is bow hunt.

90% of my hunts are alone, I actually prefer it that way becuase I'm usually more succesful. Over the years I've had hunting partners that didn't meet me at the assigned place and time so I wasted a lot of time waiting on them. Other guys would shoot at anything legal, I don't hold it against them but I'm not that kind of hunter.
This year I'm going to try to get a youngster his first shot at a deer.
I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.
