Most of you guys can't see the trees because of the forrest. Trump got Biden to wish-wash on the Green New deal, which all of his team openly supports. His website promotes it. He got Biden to make that statement about coal and oil plants. And got Biden to say he thinks the economy should be essentially shut down. Trump got Biden to act as if Bernie is Bidens enemy and to make statements about Bernie that will piss off his far left voter base. This debate was more about what Biden said than what Trump didn't say.

To me it seems the tactic of this debate wasn’t to necessarily grab every undecided voter as much as it was to cause turmoil within the Democratic Party. You can guarantee there are people from the extreme left out there in an emotional state of despair this morning over Biden walking back his approval of a green new deal, walking back Antifa as just an “idea”. Walking around the Biden sanders manifesto.
This wasn’t about seeing “how presidential” either could act. We’ve known how Trump is and how he debates. Why are we surprised he came out like a f’k Komatsu D575A.
IMO he accomplished exactly what he wanted to do. In the fashion he wanted to.

You can say someone who is undecided at this point shouldn't be allowed to vote. You can say he was being Trump. You can say he needs to be a bulldog. But, the bottom line is, no one who was undecided going into that debate watched it and said, Trump is the man. I'm voting for Trump and have never waivered in that and won't. He is absolutely the best man for the job right now and he is by far the most electable republican out there. He has a very strong base. I don't think anyone who voted for him in 2016 will vote for Biden now. I do think there a a lot of Hillary voters that will not vote for Biden. I think Trump will win. But, I want it to be so much of a landslide that there is no question who won and it is known on election night. I am sure I will get slammed and called names. But, Trump needs to tone it down a little in the next debate, let Biden hand himself and win over the undecided voters that will determine this election. You can be a bulldog and know when to attack and when to let your opponent make a mistake that gives you the advantage you need to kill him.
