My maternal grandmother was a Glasscock. She is a cousin to the Jemison Glasscocks. She grew up around West End or Powderly I think. Her father had a fish camp on the coosa River just above Bozo’s if you know where that is. Her father also helped build Lay Dam. He was Arthur V Glasscock. I think they called him Uncle Bud.
