Rain really has the crop harvest jacked up. Farmers are way behind picking. Temps are cool and the little ones are starting to get interested in the females. It should blow up here in the next week or so. My buddy shot a little doe (120lb) last weekend in the morning that had a shooter buck with her. Buck busted my buddy and the doe for what ever reason ran at him instead of away. 30 yard poke and it was over. For the evening hunt I had a P&Y buck come through on a run at 20 yards. Never knew I was there nor was he stopping for any reason. I think the kids arcoss the river pushed him on through. My buddy passed on a 110 inch 8pt.
