If we can throw our wife into this mix... mine was on track for pharmacy school and decided for education instead. I joke with her and tell her I would only be working part time if she had went the pharmacist route.
Mine had a scholarship to AU and wanted to be a vet. Got knocked up (1st marriage). And just now finishing her BS in marketing.
