I'm doing what I love and make a decent living. Not toothdoc money but we get by.  My biggest and most serious mistake was not saving for retirement as soon as I got out of school. Student loans, commercial debt, kids, private school, on and on got me way behind. I doubt i'll ever have enough to completely walk away and not work at all. Dr. B With that said, and not saying it's your case, but alot of people have no business going to college these days and getting hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt before ever getting their first job in a field that may or may not actually be what they want. Much better off to work, save amd figure it out before the plunge. Society has everyone thinking opposite of it though.
