Mac's Fish Camp had some great slaw as well as the best fried catfish around. Mike Hancock bought Mac's and started serving their slaw recipe in the BBQ restaurant. Mac's burned down but you can still get the slaw at Hancocks. For those that like vinegar based slaw, you need to try it. Forget the fries, slaw is my side of choice when I eat there.
That slaw was my wifes recipe. She worked for Mr Mac back in the late 80s early 90s. She was the one who made the slaw that everybody bragged about.
Personally I hate slaw, but to this day people ask her to make slaw for our family gatherings.
