Deer hunting quit being fun when it became all about killing mature bucks that score such and such. That is ultimately what is driving game check and all this other bull crap. People think if other hunters just did their part they could kill 200” deer every year.
I say lets go back to running dogs, brown is down, and everybody has a good time. It doesn't have to be that way. I still have fun and kill what I want. I've never been one to post on the net about what I kill anyway. Side steps getting pissed about somebodies comment about what you killed anyway. Plenty of dog hunting in Fla and it's still as fun as you remember it.

Process your own, problem solved! Save money too! Some of us have neither the place or the desire to do that. I could build a clean room and buy the necessary equipment but I don't want to. I am all too happy to pay someone to do that task for me. I just have a major problem with this "guilty until proven innocent" attitude that seems to be the popular fad with government agencies today. This. Right. Here.

They should just change the law to say you have to check in the deer before you move the dead deer. It's really that simple and how it works in many other states.
Either by phone or via the app. They need a phone number. Not everyone's App works 100% it's a POS. I will agree on that. If you don't have a phone I'm not sure what you do I guess you'll have to take your chances or get a burner phone to call Game Check. If you can't afford a phone should you really be outside deer hunting or should you be looking for a job?
Lot of angles to this delima. It's a free country. You don't have to deer hunt if this is too big a burden you are free to do something else instead of practicing being an outlaw. C'mon, man, just drive the 20 or 30 minutes away from your camp to be able to tell The Man you've killed a deer. It's no big deal. It's just a minor inconvenience. Nothing, really, other than an hour out of your day to not be an outlaw and help your fellow hunter with good management data so everyone will have a better experience. Sheesh, the nerve of some people.
