The wife was pushing me to sell our Searay runabout and consider a center console. I finally agreed and may be the best decision I have made in our 33 years of marriage. Sold the Searay and replaced it with a 2300 Center Console Ranger that is fully loaded except for two downriggers which will soon have. It has a Helix 10 Hummingbird which I will be required to learn how to operate. But I think I can deck it out for striper fishing on Lake Martin with just a little bit of effort. This is really my first bass fishing boat other then my Carolina Skiff which is limited to pond fishing only. I guess I will find if I can really fish or not. I know it is going to be much harder than my pond fishing.
