We’re good so far. Starting to hear the winds more and more. Constant tornado warnings popping up. The next couple hrs are going to be interesting. I’m probably gonna jinx us but we still got power.

Yep, damn power gonna be out soon now 😁 Man we were doing good (power wise at my Mother's) during Katrina, and soon as we bragged about having power, there comes one of those metal carport covers (from car lot nxt door) and Whammmmm that sumbitch cut our powerline in half 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣

In my experience, you get 3 blinks of power loss,, then it's over.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Winds are really getting going now. She’s gonna make landfall pretty soon. The good part is she’s hauling ass and will get on ours here.

Laura blew by last night, about 150 miles or so west of us. Got a little rough for a while, but we were far enough away not to have gotten beaten up, any. We've moved back about 30 miles to the west, now, so we can get back to work as soon as the seas lay down some and our logistics lines open up again.

Let me know if you need power. We might have to deploy some assets to your area to help the recovery from the hurricane. Certain locations are critical.

Same for me. I found one decent station. Everything else was no Buenos.

Preface this post with " I do not take anything away from the storm being ugly" and I grew up in Mobile and dealing with these storms. That said, I get that the storm is bad, but why the advertisement of 150-200mph winds and now they are standing outside and saying the gusts are 128mph. I guess being more safe than sorry is great, but if the dude is standing there and talking into a camera at 128mph then I can't imagine it's quite as bad as they say. I do hate to see what the real damage is come tomorrow. I also just saw that there are several folks walking around in the casino that one of the WX channel reporters is sheltering in.
I have a brother and other family in the middle of this so do not misunderstand what I'm saying please. Just can't stand the show they put on I guess. It's serious, but they make a freaking show of it.

Prayers for all and please holler out if you need help after the storm.

Don't blame me for your bad decision-

Welp had to swap to weather.com, they're having some technical difficulties at local one.
