Are the G5 Montec 125's worth the price or am i chasing an expensive fad. i've heard they're not sharp out of the box and i can fix that but do they really fly as good as i've heard? i've shot muzzy's for years and recently lost several deer after the switch to carbon arrows. just wondering. thanks.

i use 1 peice g5 montec 100s they are good.

honestly they are both really good broadheads. youll have to either try them out each or just stay with the cheaper one.

i shot the montec for a year, they really do fly like a field point, but I found them difficult to sharpen and keep sharp.

I shot the muzzy 4 blade 100 gr and really liked them, they fly well and are relatively inexpensive.

I am shooting slick tricks now and they are hands down the best broadhead made. they truly do fly like a field point.

I'm shooting Montec's now and love them. I haven't found them hard to sharpen at all with the G5 diamond stone. I can put a mean edge on one. I killed both of my does with the same head, after resharpening of course. I went through the shoulder on the second doe and broke my arrow, but the head is still fine. No chipped edges at all.

I use the 125 montecs. Very happy with them.

Well if you would wait a while before getting out of the stand, then you wouldn't jump the deer and(WE) :p wouldn't have to trail the deer through briars that are over our heads...and you wouldn't loose the deer!!! But the G5's sounds like you can't go wrong with them... BTW, don't you have a golf course to attend too???

What arrow you got, sounds odd your having problems now.

well bogey yes i do have a course to attend to and as you know i thought my shot was perfect. didn't you gut one this weekend how big was it again?!!!

anyway, my first arrows were the cheaper gold tips and this year i'm shooting cabelas stalker extreme both arrows were with blazer vanes. thanks guys.
