If she don’t downgrade before landfall, this will be something never seen around here. I’ve been on the rd all morning convincing people to get out. Most all have left but a couple didn’t have the funds to go. I fixed that problem quick. Not trying to glorify myself, I just wanted them to get the kids to a safe place. The outer bands of the storm are here and starting to have heavy rain and pretty good gusts. Fixing to head back out to try to convince the few that are staying to go. My family is in a very safe place and when it gets to where we have to get off the road, Raven and I have a very safe place to stay also. I pray mine and everyone else’s homes are spared. There will be no homes left to the south and west of us. Prayers for those families. Wish us luck. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride tonight.

Prayers. We had a meeting a church last nite and the pastor relayed a story about a man who works for one of our elders, who has been moving cattle out of the path of the storm, and also helping elderly folks take a few treasured possessions and themselves out of harms way. Praying for all in the region. We in Lower Alabama know all too well, there but for the grace of God, it's us...
