The fact-finding website Heavy.com reported that authorities had a warrant out for Blake’s arrest:
According to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access online records, a Jacob S. Blake, same age and with an address in the same exact block where the shooting occurred, had a warrant issued for him on July 7 on pending accusations of misdemeanor criminal trespass to a dwelling with domestic abuse as a modifier; felony third-degree sexual assault with domestic abuse as a modifier; and misdemeanor disorderly conduct with domestic abuse as a modifier. A support action was dismissed, and the only other case that comes up is for not having a driver’s license.
A 2015 story in Racine Eye described how “Racine police say K9 Dozer had to help officers take a man into custody when the man refused to go quietly into custody after he pulled a gun at a local bar.” The man was described as Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, which makes him the same age as the man shot by police on August 23. The Racine Eye story says he was charged with “one felony count of resisting arrest causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer and one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.” Those charges don’t show up on the circuit court website though.
“The Kenosha Police Department released a statement following the shooting that said that officers were called to the 2800 block of 40th Street, which appears to be the same street that was listed on the arrest warrant that had been issued, to respond to a domestic incident,” The Daily Wire reported. “The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is investigating the incident.”

Please tell me you were kidding Yea,mostly kidding but I am getting very tired of seeing these kinds of things. Think a minuet about what defunding would mean though. Most of the issues we are seeing now have happened because of the militarization of police. Your average cop is no longer Andy and Barney who you say hello to on the street. Just look at how many will say the black guy was shot because he didn't comply. WTH! When did we start thinking disobedience is justification for murder? Seriously,how many will just write it off and say he should have done what he was told and he wouldn't have got shot? Is that the society we want to live in? A police force has to be strong to enforce the rules. The harder the rules are to enforce the stronger the force must be. Do you want to live in a totalitarian society where you get terminated for breaking the rules? The stronger the police force the closer you will get to China, where you will be shot if you leave your house when told to stay inside,or fail to wear your mask when allowed out. What is the function of police,and what should their real function be? I think that's a serious question to be asked. What I see our locals doing is about 90% of their time is spent sitting in a car trying to write a speeding ticket. Most of their other time is spent writing reports about the bad stuff they didn't stop while they were writing speeding tickets.

NOBODY knows all the details yet, but lines have been drawn and the facts won’t matter.
Reporting kids in the vehicle. What if the cops knew beyond a doubt he was putting their life in danger by driving off? Tough decision. Not saying they handled it correctly cause we are all speculating at this point. But nobody wants to wait for the truth anymore.

As said before. The facts will not matter. Both sides have already made their decisions on who is at fault. It appears to me the guy isn’t getting into the car but reaching in. He goes into car head first with feet still on pavement.

Maybe the cops overstepped their bounds a little but if I am a cop in that environment with that many people standing around I don't think I am gonna chance letting some crazed person get to their vehicle. Probably 100% chance there is a gun in that car if not on him. No way I am a cop walking into that kinda situation everyday. I know somebody has to do it but I love my kids too much!

Humans ain't ballistic gel. Gel expansion/penetration is great to test in but real life remains real life. The Quantico test run by the FBI said a 115 Corbon@1350 fps scored 0 because it failed to reach 12 inches penetration in gel. None of these pundits volunteered to test it on themselves.

People hampered by ball do a fine job of killing - it's being able to hit the central nervous system (shut down - not necessarily kill) and vital organs. The only way you could miss at that range is to not know where they are. Probably taught to shoot center mass and just poked a bunch of holes in his guts.

RH CLark why don't you go ride with some police one night if it's so easy? See how many tickets they write. How about the North or West precinct of Birmingham? The guy did get shot because he didn't comply and probably reached for a gun inside the car but we don't know as I just jumped to a conclusion just like you. Speeding through neighborhoods is dangerous to kids, joggers and bicyclists. Don't like the way Police treat you, get a lawyer. Live to see another day.

I have often wondered why if the police have guns drawn on you and ask to see your hands why you would not immediately stop or even attempt to reach for anything no matter what it is. I dont even take my hands off the steering wheel when I get pulled over because there is a gun in every compartment of my truck and the first thing they ask about is weapons. I tell them where my paper work is and that a pistol is laying with it ask them to open the door so i can step out and they can reach in to get it
