Just ask Dr. Fred for any issue remotely associated with fawns, he's raised thousands of them. He'll be glad to tell he knows everything on anything, you don't even have to ask.

It is hard for people that think they know it all about something to listen to those who actually DO know a lot about it.....

Just sent my $25 in Steve, wish I could do more but the closer I get to finishing PA school the closer my savings account gets to zero lol. 3 1/2 more months and I can get back to working. Good luck with the research.

I learned early on that hunters are the most difficult part of any management plan to control.....

$1,350

Things kind of get worked up for a day or two, and then die down.

We truly appreciate those that supported the project...AND, we are surprised by the incredible number that didn't. We had thought that this project would hit close to home for many, and we assume that it has. I guess it just didn't translate into something that was worth supporting. Hopefully the other venues where we posted this will lead us to more individuals that want to see this happen.

Steve, do a study on the effect of coyote predation and I bet you can get enough to pay for the stink study............. ; - )

A coyote predation study will cost $80,000-$150,000 depending on where it is done and exactly what questions are being asked. But, we already know that coyotes kill fawns sometimes, and we have some decent information now on the rates of predation in some areas. The questions that we need to answer now are based upon "how" this is occurring, and "why". And by how and why, I don't mean...using their teeth because they are hungry.
