Best place to eat for dinner? I know it's not the beach, so y'all probably come up empty handed, but I thought I'd ask.
Btw if anyone needs aldeer Express let me know. Leaving madison round 12 tomorrow headed south to Jackson AL.

Decent food (haven't been since all the SD BS) But me, I'd just grab a cherry shake and burger at Ed's and save $100 bucks...

x2 on Ed's in Jackson. Call 251 246 3054 fifteen minutes in advance. If you leave early heading north, stop at Dunn's, the big gas station on 43 in Grove Hill for a quick take out breakfast.

The prices are actually about the same as any mid level steak place but they serve a better than average steak.

I was assuming it was him and maybe a wife, then yeah it would've eaten up a 100 dollar bill

They ain't cheap by any means but no way is Big Mikes anywhere near 100 bucks for one person. Any single person that dropped 100 bucks at Big Mikes either did some serious eating or left the waitress one helluva tip. If you are in the mood for fish there is a Davids Catfish place in Thomasville.

The best index to a person’s character is (a) how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and (b) how he treats people who can’t fight back. - Abigail van Buren

Yours would’ve been X3. But math has never been your strength!! Once long, long ago my brother and I grabbed a burger from Ed’s for the trip home. It was as always very good. I would bet $100 there was deer meat in that burger. No mistaken that. It was delicious but it had venison in it.

But I'm sure y'all know more than me lol. But hey, is the old lady that wore pants 10 sizes too small (walked like a stiff board) still alive at the catfish house? Hell she was 70 15 years ago 🤔

Dunn's shell station has some pretty good catfish too. I think they changed owner a couple years ago but still got the same old ladies cooking.
