I replaced my water pump in January, it blew out (i.e. the bearings went bad). Anyway it can go bad like that and coolant be everywhere. Or there is a leak in the water housing (bad seal, crack, bearing seal) letting fluid get out and onto the fanbelt which might explain the squealing.
