We used to put out the 50lb red mineral blocks at the start of spring and never had a problem with deer using it.

I did the same last week and realized it's in store pick up ONLY. I just tried again and that's the only option today as well. After cancelling, I received a $20 off code. Now gotta spend that lol

Has anyone experienced the smaller 12Lb rocks melting away faster than normal this year? I have used them for 5 or 6 years and put a few out in the spring and when I went back to fill a feeder that was by it 2 months later the rock were almost gone. It was the size of a bar of soap. Its not in a puddle and is basically on well drained soil. This happened to at least 3 of them this spring. I put out several more in April and they are still full size. it almost seemed like they changed something in them. And I don't have hogs where I am using them just deer.

The cheapest price on trophy rock is to buy Redmonds all natural trace mineral salt. It comes out of the same hole in the ground and 50 lbs is about $5-$6. It is the same exact stuff. It's also now the salt I use in my kitchen. I don't use the feed grade in the kitchen, but they sell kitchen salt. It's more finely ground than the cow salt. Nobody sells the Redmonds trace mineral around here. I stopped in TenerC on my way back through last time and got some at a co-op. They sell it at the feed store in Jasper.

Sportsman shipping must be area specific. Still a big NO here. Luckily I had 4 in the garage ready to toss out in May
