I thought this was where we could voice our opinion on about anything. I understand this is private site. I understand the world we live in is getting worse an worse. I can live by most of the rules but number 12. On the religion topic. Nobody is gonna tell me not to talk about god. Trying to get People into god is never a bad thing. Don t matter who’s site you are on. I know things are posted here may seem racist or bigoted or biased in some why, but if We was talking face to face it would know its not that way. Nowaday if a person is not a racist you will be if you keep up with current events around the world. I have been on sidelines of this site for awhile an only been in conversations with few folks for a year or so. Don t really know why Im not much a social person. I have learned alot off this site. Some very intelligent people on here. Nothing you can ask for an not get an answer. But rules an regulations are not for me but i do understand the reason behind it. We are all being silenced little bit at a time. Evil people in this world. So im gone . I won t be back on this site again. Remove my membership. I will not be silienced especially about religion. Why when Skinny puts a rule up regarding not attempting to convert someone to your religion does it freak people out? It seems simple. He didn’t say don’t mention God or Islam or any deity. He said don’t attempt to convert. I have discussed Christianity with multiple forum members and had phone calls regarding our Christian faith and theological positions. I have also had conversations with atheist on this site regarding Christ.

I agree...I have a big problem with #12 on there...I’m not the type to be a troublemaker or cross any of the other rules, but I will not back down about sharing my faith and attempting to lead people to Christ. Sure, it is a hunting sight where we talk about hunting and fishing, but my faith is so intertwined with those things that it’s impossible for me to not talk about the blessings Christ has given me out in His wonderful creation. I really have loved this sight and have met a lot of fantastic people on here, but that really makes me question should I stay here or not. I will not backdown from saying that my faith in Jesus has completely changed my life and am called to preach the gospel at all times. I wish y’all the best and have really enjoyed it.

I’m not one to preach on a forum, or anywhere for that matter, but I agree with this. There may a site out there that is a “Christian/hunting” site, but you more than likely aren’t reaching anyone there. I hope you and others with beliefs like us stay. Don’t push the envelope “preaching”, but never be worried about sharing your beliefs. Just ease it into a situation such as being thankful what He has given us, or has allowed us to do. Maybe it’ll peak someone’s interest enough to ask questions thru a pm, or on the open forum. If somebody drops the hammer on us for that, there’s nothing else we can do as far as this site goes. I don’t see it as a reason to “give up” on Aldeer. There may be some things that have to be typed out in order for this site to stick around. You know, part of a process, and some things get overlooked a little. 🤷
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

Can we all just take a step back..... if the site has just been attacked then that's awful but I don't think a good look is to stifle free speech in an attempt to conform and if people disagree with the status quo that they get the ban hammer. That's not a good look.
I understand that the people who run this site aren't making any money and are providing a service that a lot of people enjoy on their backs. If this Code of Conduct is how they truly feel then all members have to accept it, there's nothing we can do about it. Now to SgtRed's point, there should be some kind of option to remove our information from the sight just for security purposes. That could probably cause just as much of a problem as the reasons the site was attacked.
I would just like to see calmer heads prevail. Thanks and hope I don't get banned for saying this, haha.
