It's pretty easy: if the owners' new Code is something you don't like, leave.
This is their site, their rules and it's not up for a vote.
Not picking at you or trying to start anything with you because frankly, I enjoy your posts and you speak with a lot of common sense. That said, is it just me or do you seem to give that advice more often than not? I give it because people like to complain about something they have zero control over. This site is privately owned. The owners can decide what they want, who they want on it, what topics could be discussed or anything else. We're all guests here trying to get along under their rules. So yeah, I post that a lot when people are complaining. I always have and always will. If someone doesn't like something happening on here, it's an easy decision to modify and go along or head out somewhere else.

I would have sworn when I joined aldeer I read something that said this was a christian site. I dont know what any christians job would be if not to "convert" sinners or "show the way" to lost people. That is pretty much job #1 of any follower of Jesus Christ. Truth This is the only rule I take issue with. I will continue to speak about the gospel as much as I can. If I get booted, I get booted. I don't mean to imply that I will cram it down people's throats. Consider Jesus and the rich young ruler: Christ didn't chase the young ruler around begging him to repent after he was hesitant to give up his possessions and follow Christ, Jesus considered that the man had made his decision and he had received his reward in full. That's the approach I take. I will continue to speak of the gospel every chance I get, however, I won't "force" it on anyone. Salvation is free, but it's not without cost. Only those willing to repent can make the decision. I can't do it for them. This is very similar to the thoughts I had. Was this attack we hear of based on people putting forth their faith? People complained about trying to be converted to this view or that view? I will also not shrink from speaking about the Gospel of Christ.Even if I am taken out to be shot much less thrown off of a forum. I am not trying to stir things up here, but just seeking some clarification. The thread about the Confederate flag and NASCAR for example. Large support for the view that the flag should stay. I agree it should. One person used the term "queer". Also discussion in that thread talk about the noose, which I also refuse to believe until I see a video. Won't people on the Left see that discussion as racist? Is this not what the admin folks were referring to? I would have thought these comments would be purged...anyone else see where I am coming from? What is the new place supposed to look like if all the things I mentioned are OK?? I also noticed that you can no longer view forum content at all unless you are signed in. That is interesting but makes perfect sense.

After reading the new rules, I'm surprised there is even a "General" forum Edit: This wasn't in the rules ... my bad ...This site is about hunting and fishing, not about social issues. Its fine to complain about how the DCNR runs our hunting and fishing rules, but take the other stuff somewhere else.
