This site is about hunting and fishing, not about social issues. Its fine to complain about how the DCNR runs our hunting and fishing rules, but take the other stuff somewhere else.
So just get rid of the General Forum, Football/Sports Forum, etc. This forum is privately owned and the owner/owners can run it as they see fit... That being said I'm not sure how much I'll use a site that has a rule stating they can change my post. I'd rather posts be deleted than changed. That's a big time slippery slope I agree, we will just delete. Changing a post is stupid. ^^^^ I agree. I will never edit a member's post.

I understand the need to change a few things. In today's cancel culture if you are on a board and someone says something someone else doesn't like it can be used against you. This is true 10 fold for moderators and the guvner. All it would take is 1 crazy post to get into the wrong persons hands and people could lose their jobs and reputations.
I think it was Outback who said a while back something like " the world is a nice place but the people are ruining it". He's right.

The Code of Conduct rules and requirements won't alter the majority of Aldeer members because they typically already have self control with their posts.

Does this mean no pictures of the confederate battle flag or Alabama's state flag as a avatar or in a signature or in starting a thread or anything to do with the Confederate battle flag , no pictures of confederate statues or plaques or posting up quotes from famous civil war Generals or civil war hero's ???
