The old man died and his daughter took it over and we lost the hunting rights. There was probably one the best natural salt licks that I have ever seen in my life on that place. The woods we hunted didn't hold any deer but they sure passed through what few little bottoms and hills we had.
we had the property that the tower is on in the 80's.had to put up with them building it a whole hunting season.thats where our camp site was.there was a huge salt lick on the back side of the property just across the line.probably the same one your talking about.lots of nice deer and memories in that area, we had 4 differant tracts from the 80's through the 90's in the area..nice hunting, real nice.
