No victim, no crime. Tickets and citations have very little to do with public safety and much more to do with public funding. In effect, law enforcement has become another form of taxation. Unfortunately, that is often correct. Late 2019 I was given a ticket outside Demopolis in BFE, AL. My crime, 75 in a 65. Modern vehicles are so much safer than vehicles from even just 20 years ago, meanwhile speed limits haven't adjusted.
