And he only lives a mile up the road, he used to come by my house every morning when he took his kids to school in the trooper Tahoe. I don't know so I'm asking anyone who might legitimately know: can law enforcement officers use state/county/city issued vehicles for personal business? I am not certain but I think it varies by department which makes me think it's legal to an extent.. I know some claim that a department encourages dropping their kids off at school to increase presence.
