My group also drew unit 8 also as our first choice Where do you hunt / stay ? We usually go the 1st-2nd week on November and hunt in Oak Hill. How is the hunting pressure in that area? We are thinking of staying in manhattan We are fortunate to hunt on private land and we never see any deer hunters. There are a lot of pheasant hunters around but those numbers seem to be dwindling. We stayed in Clay Center or Minneapolis,KS in the past. We found a cabin in a state park that we're staying at now. It's awesome and cheap.
