I was finally able to get 3 different types of watermelon and 2 types of cantaloupe seed in the ground today. Hopefully will get something off of them.

Shiloh, my tomatoes caught the aphids from your pictures. I sprayed 2 days ago with soapy water and had to spray again today with Neem oil.

I sprayed em with malathion and they are still there and my garden smells like creepy old ladies house...plan on spraying them with soapy water first thing in the morning then hit em with the hose pipe.

I'm not new the gardening but I dang sure pulled a rookie move. It appears I planted pole lima beans rather than bush beans.

Doubt I'll build a trellis for them . Reckon I'll just see how they do.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your broccoli has bolted. The part you eat on broccoli is the flower bud. When they start turning yellow, the bloom is opening. I only grow broccoli in the fall. I plant on Labor day weekend.

I sprayed mine with soapy water and two days later they were covered again. I got em with Neem Oil the 2nd time.

Whale, look at the good side. Let the blooms die down, shake the seed out, and you'll never have to buy another broccoli plant. My wife has an uncle who use to save seed from mustard greens. He gave me an entire ice cream bucket full. I protested, saying I didn't want to take all his seed. He opened his chest freezer and had 9 more bucket fulls.

When I said I plant mine on Labor Day weekend, I'm talking about transplanting seedlings to the garden, not starting them from seed. I've never planted broccoli seed, but I'm going to this year. I'll start them early to mid August.

Pulled my first ear of corn that I've ever grown yesterday! Was well filled out and no signs of pests. Should start getting some more in next few days. Stoked! Haha

Way to go, blade. I don't have the space for corn but maybe I'll expand next year because fresh corn does sound wonderful.
