More pics and story later.

North Bama season finally started this morning. Heard several gobs on the limb, but once they hit the ground they shut up and headed onto property I can't hunt. I came in about 1130 for some lunch and headed back out around 2.

I bumped a few hens and a gobbler out of the spot I wanted to set up in, but decided to go ahead and set up anyway. I let out a series of yelps on my YEKRUT ghost cut special and waited. After about 10 minutes I see a red head bobbing around the corner of a small wood lot. I give him a few more soft yelps to coax him in. As soon as he got into an opening I let him have it. 10 1/2 inch beard and 7/8 spurs.

He was real spooky so I think it was the same gobbler that I bumped walking in. He just couldnt stand the sweet hen talk. Thanks again YEKRUT for the calls.
