Guys who use cellular cameras, how soon does the cameras send the pictures to your phone after taking a picture? Is it within seconds, several minutes, only a couple times a day? We seem to have some snoopers and I'd like to put up a camera down my long driveway along the woods.
Recomendations on the good and bad cameras and how the cellular plans work/cost would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been running coverts for years. Pics come to my phone immediately. After seeing the results 257 has been getting from the Spartans I’m about to order a few of those.

Some cameras have settings that you can change for when it sends pics.
My Spartans sends pics usually within 30 secs of taking it.

What about the 5G service coming out?
Will that effect the Spartan 4G cameras from not working?
I think I remember the Spartan 3G cameras not working when $G came out, or, am I mistaken?

I have a Moultrie and a Spartan. Hands down the Spartan is the best. Fast and unlimited pictures on my Verizon plan. It will only be Spartan for me for now on.

Verizon was supposed to shut their 3g network down back in December but I’ve heard they postponed it for a year. My 3g is still working. That’s a Verizon issue not a Spartan issue.

Spartan costs $5/mo when added to your existing Verizon plan. That sounds like a great deal, if you use Verizon that is. Can you use them with other cell services? And is that price per camera or per phone? I pay I think $15 per month with my Spypoint, but I believe that covers up to 5 cameras.

The Spartans I am using will take sim cards that are active and have the ability to use data. I use google fi for my cell service and they will give you data-only sim cards for free, you just pay whatever data you end up using. I pop those things in the Spartans and it says "t mobile" network. This is using the ATT Spartans because ATT and Tmobile use GSM cell network. Verizon uses CDMA. It won't say to do this anywhere in the instructions as they would rather you pay for the services using the sim card they give you, but it's not necessary. It's just a cell phone inside a camera.
Long way of saying it may work with straight talk and other discount rate services as long as the sim cards are active with data service. MAY work.

Will they work with straight talk? Yes, as long as you can get the app for whatever type of cam it is. You just buy the cam that uses the service that works the best wherever the cam will be.
