The cheapest price on trophy rock is to buy Redmonds all natural trace mineral salt. It comes out of the same hole in the ground and 50 lbs is about $5-$6. It is the same exact stuff. It's also now the salt I use in my kitchen. I don't use the feed grade in the kitchen, but they sell kitchen salt. It's more finely ground than the cow salt. Nobody sells the Redmonds trace mineral around here. I stopped in TenerC on my way back through last time and got some at a co-op.

Me either 2Dogs. It's really good stuff, or I should say, deer eat it quickly. Much moreso than any mixture involving red mineral salt that I've ever tried. I can say for certain that it tastes different than white salt.

I buy the 30lb four65 product in a bag when I see it a couple times a year with 50lbs of pool or stock salt. Then mix it in the dirt below a big tree at bottom of a hill. It ends up as a dig out hole amongst the roots. After some SOS entity searches and other interwebnet snooping I am convinced Redmond and Trophy Rock are the same company.

Redmond s Webb sites shows several places in North AL that are disturbers I called a couple stores in NA a year or two ago , they didn't carry the loose , bagged salt. I think the reason it's readily found in Middle TN is horses. I understand folks with high end horses love it and so do their horses.

I can't remember the name of the county, but it's the one with the Amish folks living there, something ....burg. There were hitching posts in front of the Farmers Co-op.

I get it from the coop in Lawrenceburg, TN Do they have Amish folks up there? The large Amish settlement is actually bout 10-15 miles north in Ethridge . I'm not sure where that's at. I may or may not have gotten mine at Lawrenceburg. I just remember there were Amish folks there and that the co-op, and many other businesses, had a hitching post.

The levels of every nutrient are lower in the Redmond’s salt than a red mineral block or red bagged salt. I figure that’s why the Redmond’s / Trophy rocks are eaten more readily. Some of the minerals added to salt for cattle are bitter. Magnesium is one of them. That’s why many cattle minerals have syrup or a feed product added to them. It’s to encourage enough consumption of the mineral to make it effective
