What jogging at night may look like. He was dedicated; jogging on multiple nights in that neighborhood, because as you can see he is wearing different outfits in these videos.

My opinion is those 2 yahoos shouldn't have been trying to pull off that Gomer Pile "citizen arrest" BS.

It is such a damn shame. He had the opportunity to really make some progress in fighting racism and putting the hate in the past, but instead he chose to be one of the biggest racists in American history. And he, and especially Michelle, are still at it. That is two hearts slam full of racial hatred right there.

I truly hope this is not an act of pure racism and hate, as many have speculated. With that said, I am curious to know how many people who think that this was the case have been victims of repeated theft and burglary?

At a previous residence, I had items stole from inside my truck 3 times (my fault, I eventually learned to lock the doors). However, once we got into the habit of locking the doors a brick was thrown through my wife's car window to steal a purse in her floorboard (Nothing valuable, just a tote bag basically). An aluminum boat stolen out of the back yard. Panted palm trees were pulled out of the ground.

I had 5 of the 6 incidents recorded on security cameras. Only 1 conviction out of the 5, it was a white guy who pulled his truck into the yard and tied a rope around two palm trees (habitual offender, police recognized his vehicle immediately). The other 4 were black males, that is the most that could ever be made from video .

My family and I felt personally violated each and every time an incident occurred. Multiple times, the next morning on video, we watched thieves literally break into our vehicles parked in our driveway, separated only by a few feet and the exterior wall from where we laid our heads every night.

I am not saying I agree with their actions but I can see how, after being victimized repeatedly, the events that occurred could play out.

- Repeat theft and burglary in the neighborhood.
- A profile is identified (black male) from security systems.
- Suspicious activity at neighboring residence. Police are called and the decision to confront the individual is made.
- Weapon is brought to confront suspicious individual (General Assumption is that a thief is armed too).
- Suspicious individual attacks and attempts to take away personal defense weapon.
- ……..

So you sow so shall you reap. I understand the frustration but if the police were unresponsive about previous complaints I’m not sure why they thought a citizens arrest would make them more responsive to the situation. My gut tells me they went to try to scare the guy into staying away but it backfired on them when he wasn’t scared.

It should also be a lesson to those that think showing a gun or hearing a shotgun rack a round into the chamber will cause the bad guy to run. It doesnt always work that way.

I'm thinking all along the line of a card game, They went after him bluffing with guns and he called their hand and the rest is history.

Bad mistake on his part. They weren't bluffing and when push came to shove, they were willing to show they actually had the cards in hand. Now he is history.

The more comments I read that sympathize with the “jogger” makes me wonder how many MEN are truly left in this country. It’s sad to me smh

If a mans finger is on the trigger of a gun and another man tries to pull the gun away from him, who actually pulls the trigger?

Also, who puts security cameras in an empty residence? My guess is there were multiple instances of theft before and homeowner finally installed securtiy to try and stop it.

Some of you people thinking Abery was a jogger needs to watch these two.

Y’all realize that believing these two guys were in the wrong for how they handled the situation and probably legally accountable for how the situation turned out, is not related to “feeling bad” for the guy who got shot?

Killing an unarmed man over some property that he may or may not have stolen does not make you a man, it makes you a murderer which is frowned upon in the Bible and usually even in today's sinful world.

Pretty sure he is the grand wizard.

Pretty sure thieving is covered in the Bible as well.
