That video was sickening. I don’t care if the guy had just stolen a roll of copper wire out of a new house or took a sledge hammer to the kitchen. That was murder in the street. Call the cops, take some video of him if you must and let the cops handle it. It doesn’t matter if he was out jogging or running because he had just tried to steal something. The latter doesn’t justify murder and those two rednecks needlessly escalated the situation.

Im blown away at the number of people on here that acts like it's ok to walk through houses that are under construction, but heaven forbid someone goes piddling through your vacant hunting land! It's not yours!

i dont know who the hell you calling a fool but i aint one. i have never once relied on the media to help me inform an opinion on a topic or anything. i go by what i see on paper and video. now the video may not be the best or whole video but if that is all that is avail then thats all i have to go by. and yes i would trust the GBI with a murder investigation as they are one of the best out there

oh i have been. ive seen all the videos that are avail to see. as stated before its murder. you dont run someone down in a truck and get out and go wild west on them and not expect a confrontation. lets twist this story some, if the black man would have pulled a gun and shut and killed both of them, and all you had to go by was the video of the black man in the house under construction and the two men chasing him down, what would you say he (the black man) be charged with??

phuck him one less thieving POS in the world he wasnt looking at that new house with the intention of buying it or hiring the framers to build his vacation home he was looking for tools to steal and the NAACP, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson can call it "jogging" if they want but he was running from the scene plain and simple. Its a shame he didnt have a nail gun or a drill stuffed down his pants when they caught up to him. Ive lived in high crime places and you get sick of the shucks these guys were tired of it and did something about it and the idiot tried to get into a fist fight with a man holding a shotgun end of story. it may not be a problem in yalls gated community but i wish all my neighbors were more like those 2.

He didn't get shot for his thievery, he got shot because he charged and attached a dude with a shotgun and tried to snatch it out of his hands,

I'd say you've already twisted the story enough. Let's say hypothetically the guy got a job and wasn't out stealing other people's hard earned chit, or attacking armed men so he didn't go back to jail. You reckon this might have ended differently?

you've obviously never had to call the cops before because youd figure out how tired most people get of reporting crimes for them to do absolutely nothing after they show up an hour later to "make a report" then tell you that if they didnt see it theres nothing they can do.

Under Georgia code, Moore says a citizen can use force if they fear for their life, but they cannot create a confrontation themselves and then claim self defense after harming someone. Especially if they did not witness a crime take place.

"It does not allow us to create armed posses and roam the community looking for someone we think might have done something wrong," Moore said.

as you see the two white men said "he resembled" a suspect. they had no proof that this person was a suspect or not..

The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. he went in that house looking for something it just wasnt there if some of of yall caught this guy on a trail cam jogging thru your hunting lease his photo would be all over here accused of who knows what. he didnt get killed because he looked like a burglar he got killed because he attacked a guy with a shotgun, he should have waited on the law while being held under citizens arrest. doesnt take a dam genius to figure out why someone might want to question you for snooping around a construction site you have no business being at in the first place.

so its not illegal to enter private property anymore? didnt they witness that? isnt it fair to assume after witnessing that you may have reason to believe a theft might have occured?

Well if you assume 12 tax paying voting georgia citizens is going to all agree on murder then you are dead wrong haha. The prosecutor is not that stupid, but for these two guys sake I hope he is so they are acquitted.
