Don't like the price of the new trucks? Buy a used truck they say....not anymore! How about a 4 year old truck, a typical V8 quad cab 1/2 ton 4WD, that will be $30,000. Finance it for 4-5 years and when you are done paying for it, it has 200,000 miles on it, and is worth $5,000.
Might as well get the new one for $50,000. Unless you buy trucks for cash, you are screwed either way.
When my truck finally blows up, I'm getting a used Subaru Outback shipped down from Seattle for less than $10 grand, and I'm putting a deer rack on the back of it. And mud tires. To hell with these 4WD truck prices.
