Just joined a club in Thomasville. Is there a decent motel in town or should I buy a camper? Looks like closest camp ground is Millers Ferry.
Any ideas?

The Hometown Inn is where we crash when we’re working in that area. It’s a good spot and walking distance from some grub. They have a decent area to park if you’re pulling a trailer too.

Second on the Hometown Inn. Just be aware that they have smoking rooms so if you hate cigarette smoke like I do ask them to put you as far away as you can get. Walk over to Gaston’s grill, Mike’s steakhouse or David’s catfish house for good eatin.

Plenty of camping in that area if you go that route. There’s a long term camp ground at Yellow Bluff just off Hwy 10 before you get to the paper mill. I think it runs 350 or 400 a month. That includes water sewer garbage and electric. There used to be one in Pine Hill also but it’s been several years since I’ve been down that way. PM Sluggun. He has a spot or two for a camper in Pine Hill.
