Congrats on the kill buckbrush. I'm gonna try my hand at the Uchee Creek special opportunity area this weekend to see if I can make something happen there. I hunted the same units 3 and 4 the first year Uchee Creek opened for turkey hunting. The weather was terrible the weekend we hunted. Our business also helped post signs to mark the units so I've spent a lot of time down there but not recently. Send me your email, I may have some more current maps I could send that may be helpful. We saw birds strutting in Unit 8, which we couldn't hunt. It has a decent turkey population so hopefully with the good weather you may be able to get on some birds. email is jjohnson@buckmasters.com . Any help would be greatly appreciated. We went and tried and ended up walking almost all the roads and never head a gobble or saw a track or anything. They might be aroumd there but we never saw any sign of them.
