Elementary schools in Chelsea are doing drive through free lunches for every child, regardless of who is on a free lunch program. My wife was there picking up something from Jacob's teacher....lunch ladies asked her how many kids in the household. She said, I have older boys out of school, so just 1. They said it didn't matter and handed her 3 sack lunches with sandwiches, oranges, milk and juice. They are doing this I know 5 days a week. Same at Opelika City schools but you have to have the kid with you in the car is the only negative. They don't care how old or how many you have they'll give them all lunch They don’t have to have the kids and they are doing it in Auburn also.
