Our Yorkie will come out of a sleep snarling and snapping. Never bit anyone, but he can be a little bit Psycho when he is startled awake.

When he snaps out of it he looks ashamed.

Very sweet dog that's just not all there when he wakes up sometimes.

Of course even if he did bite I doubt he could break the skin.

I'm sorry for the loss. If he'd been a good dog I think I might have tried to find a home before putting him down. But I understand why it was done.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
