Wild golden shiner or river roach. Great big bass bait. Easy to catch with a tiny #12 hook and a piece of worm no more than 1/8 of an inch long suspended under a cork about a foot deep.

Back in the 70's we caught a lot of Florida bass on golden shiners. We would chum the shiners up with oatmeal, then throw a cast net over them. On the St. Johns river we would get above deep holes and freeline them downstream.
