DoA has a cousin in South Carolina who said that there was great irony in Publix having a BOGO sale but only allowing 2 cans of anything per person at the register.
I don't know if the great majority of people misunderstand the two can limit and think that it is two cans period instead of two cans of the same thing or if it really is two canned good total.

Well let's see. When all this chit started surfacing, I stopped every other day and picked up essentials. TP, Dog food, wifes favorite drinks. Etc. I probably have 75 rolls. Call me a hoarder, idgas
When school got canceled and suddenly mom and three kids are pizzing and shatting at home all day and not at work/school folks had to load up. I was ahead of the curve.

Sam's in Huntsville had all the toilet paper and paper towels you would want today. It was their brand but they had plenty.

It is hard when you have a large family at home and people see you buying in bulk. I don't have that, it is the wife and I, but I do try to visualize someone having that problem. Think of a wife, 4 or 5 girls, a couple of boys, yourself and your mom living at the house.

Guess we know better now for the next time. id have bet milk and bread woulda been the winner but there has been plenty of those at the few stores Ive been thru. The local food giant had about 100 4 packs of store brand TP when I went thru there this morning but that was the only thing on the paper towel and TP aisle shelves.

Self fulfilling shortage, just like .22 ammo in 2012.
People hear there is a shortage, so they try to buy it every time they are in the store, instead of just when they need it.
Took almost 5 years for .22 ammo to recover. Hope it's not that long on assenwiper rolls

Amazon delivered our every-other-month case today. Didn't expect to get it but we were very low, so happy to have it.
I ran serpentine to the garage to pick it up as the wife laid down suppressing fire!

We had three cases delivered to the shop today, from staples I think is where she gets it. You break that down to 4 buildings it’s a 2 week supply roughly

If you do find stuff don’t list where on social media. People see a place posted on FB and everyone hauls ass to go get it. If i find TP or Lysol etc somewhere I’m not announcing to the whole damn community.
