Just thinking It reads like most are handy with tools and hands at Aldeer. What’s some road/trash finds have and got it going or using it? I have gotten several lawn mowers and weed eaters and some needed were a plug or carb cleaned. yes some went right back in the trash. I picked up a metal top table and still use it to work on stuff in the garage.

Several Craftsman ratchets and wrenches. I figure mechanics forgot them and left them under the hood. i see life jackets and minnow buckets all the time.

I meant to say most ratchet straps I see have been run over. I can’t tell ya if I’ve bought a bungee strap

I love keeping my eyes peeled for stuff like that. Bunch of nice new hats, pair of LL Bean brand sunglasses, several tools, life jackets, lazyboy brand recliner that looked new...Can’t think of anything else off the top of my head but the list is long.

Found a digital camera on the side of the road while Elk Hunting in Big Sky, Montana. Brought it back to Alabama and pulled the card and it was a young couple on their honeymoon, but none of the pictures would cause the pretty young girl's mother embarrassment. Most of them were posing by scenery. I imagine one of them set it on the roof and they took off. I contacted the maker with the serial number in hopes they sent in the warranty info, but apparently they didn't.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I was working one day with a fellow and he saw something in the road and pulled over. Turned out to be just the handle to a hand saw. When he saw it was only the handle he threw it back down. I picked it up and asked if he didn’t want it. He said no. I recognized it as a Craftsman brand. Took it to Sears and they swapped it for a brand new one. When I told him about it later, he had to nerve to tell me I should give it to him.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

I found a Stihl chain saw last summer while running down a county road. I called the Sheriff on that one and had them come get it

I found a nickel plated 3 ball hitch this past weekend. Brand new too. Had a friend of mine who found a Yamaha 25 4 stroke a couple years ago.

Found a whole set of baitcasters and rods that had blown off somebody's boat last year. They were so cheap that I cleared them off the road and left them there.

Two riding lawn mowers that just needed valves adjusted. Construction thermos, engine hoist, office chairs, cat carrier, 20 ton press, and tons of metal to my projects

I usually don't pull over but was rolling down a dirt road in the delta and saw a box that caught my eye. Pulled over and it was a box of brand new dakota mallard decoys. Still hunt over them to this day.

Well used Stihl chainsaw. I pulled off up the road after picking it up. I thought someone might come back by looking but they didnt. It was running rough but a little addictive and it's still running good three years later.

Cabelas $50 gift card still loaded bungee cords drill and impact wrench set that flew off a truck that came into my lane and almost killed me in a curve. I turned around and snagged it too!
