Depending on if it's a series or a wildcat. Haven't fished either in years.

It’s been awhile since I fished some.. but when we only had 15 or less boats It depended on when I came to weigh in.. if I was one of the first few then I’d weigh them.. if I was towards the end and new the current weights I didn’t... it usually only paid out 2-3 places

If I am not in the money I don't weight them.

How do you know if you don't weigh them? I've seen ounces separate the winner from out of the money. if you are fishing a trail often you get points towards the end of year tournament whether you get a check or not too.
