this morning. Spoonbill snagging season opened March 15th at 12am. Second time going this year. Didn't hook anything Saturday when I went, was to many people fishing. Hooked this 5 1/2 foot 42lb on about my 10th cast this morning. Snagged for about another hour and bumped some, but never hooked another one. Limit is two per day per person, with a minimum length of 24".where I was fishing on the river. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/7Bpyg5k.jpg)

They used to snag a lot of them out of the Missouri River in Ft. Peck MT. I don’t remember eating one but the neighbor did.

Cool. Used to be you could do that at Guntersville Dam. I think now they will beat you with a dead skip jack then put you in solitary confinement with nude Hillary and Pelosi lifesize murals for a month.
