I don't put 'em on a pedestal never have, but i listened to his music many a night back when i was a teenager (and as an Adult) even through some tough times back in the day, and heck i was only 8 when Keith Whitley died and i never met him, but i sure wish he was still around. Now when Hank Jr leaves this Ol' World I'll probably take a few days off from work, hit the River, drink some beer, fish and listen to some of his Music........

Joe Diffie was a headliner when my friend made her Opry debut back in August. He didn't appear to be in too good of health then. Hated to hear he passed. Hoping Prine pulls through.

On the 19th he was at Lorrie Morgan’s Fried chicken place at PCB. He was not feeling good then and thought it was just a bug.

Angel from Montgomery? In Spite of ourselves with Iris Dement? Hello in there? Sam Stone? Etc etc etc. We’ve got to get you out more. There are a couple of good local guitar players that play 4-5 JP songs each time they play. You probably know who I’m talking about. Do yourself a favor and google some of his music. He’s all Americana Watch the the Billy Bob Thornton movie “Daddy and Them.” Prine plays the weirdo brother and Andy Griffith is the Dad.
