MOA refers to 1" at 100yards.

So 3MOA means the dot will cover 3" at 100yard

I haven't owned or used a turkey gun with a red dot, at least yet anyways so my opinion isn't probably what you want.
It would probably depend on personal preference like most things in life but the 3MOA is where I would be going.
I agree, I think the 8 would take up half the bird looking through that thing. Thanks again!
