has anyone done any patterning with an after market choke yet for a 410 or 20?

Indian Creek has the 410 in stock. i still havent shot mine, but maybe next week scott
if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF

I’m picking the 20 up today. I’ll try several, but anything around a .570 should be perfect. I’ve also got the .410, I killed three birds with it last year using the factory choke and hand loaded 9.5s. It threw around 160 pellets in a 10” circle with that factory choke. I’m hearing that the Indian creek choke is throwing around 190-200.

I just picked up the 20 gauge and the choke measures .575, I ordered a .570 for it. We shall see

In the 410 the factory choke and Apex ammo 9.5's will kill at 35yds. Farthest kill I've been a part of so far

I have a 20 and a 410 with the factory choke in the 20 and 410 they both have a good enough pattern to kill. I was just interested to see how much better the pattern could get with an aftermarket choke.

Hadn’t shot it yet. Haven’t had time. I’ll be shooting it this weekend for sure. I went ahead and had a trigger job done on the 20 gauge and the .410. I haven’t a Kick’s gobblin thunder coming for the .410, should be here by Friday. I’ll get them both patterned Saturday and Sunday

Interested to see your results. After seeing what an Indian creek did in my 20ga 870, I decided I wanted one for my Stevens. While in Nashville, after talking with the Apex guys, I tried to buy an Indian Creek for the Stevens .410. Sold Out. If that Kicks does well, I may go that route

My gun shot well with the factory choke. It put up 160’s with the factory choke and 9.5s and 10s. I would think the the tighter gobblin thunder would improve it slightly. My factory choke mic’d out at .391 and I feel like it should be a hair tighter. We will see I guess

Mine with the factory choke and 9’s seems too tight at 30 yards for a kid, I like it at 40 and think it’ll be fine for me using it at closer ranges but I’m concerned about anything inside 30 with my daughter shooting

I called nitro yesterday and they recommend there nitro .390 choke for the stevens 410 with there T4100 9.5 TSS load. For the 20 Ga. there recommendation was the Indian Creek .555 with there T258 TSS load.

I got my Kicks gobblin thunder .385 in the mail yesterday. It appears to be well made like their bigger chokes. I’ll shoot it this weekend and post the results

I shot it yesterday. It put 175-185 with 9.5s with an extremely dirty barrel.
