Dickies. Same material, same manufacturer, can buy them for half the price. Carhartt has become a label name not a quality manufacturer name. Figured most folks knew that by now.
Dickies don't hold up anywhere close to Carhartts with me. Dickies fade bad on me after a couple of Washings and the knees ravel out pretty bad when I have to crawl around on them. Carhartts have held up very well for me for years. I buy from Sierra and they are usually marked as seconds, but I've never seen the first flaw with them. I wear Carhartts almost everyday and they have been very good to me.
