Reading thru this post I have come to one conclusion. I agree with what Wiley said in his original post, when is enough , enough. But, it it made think of one thing. Just because a buck is running behind a doe does not mean she is ready to breed. Maybe he is running her azz off for some reason. Maybe he's pissed at her, do you See where I am going? People often jump to conclusions that aren't true. If they could and it meant more money to DCNR , they just might make the season longer. I don't think the deer or the hunters are their prime concern. It's all about the money and looking good for the politicians that happen to be in power at the time.
It's not how much money you make, but how much you can keep.
