Did not deer hunt this year at all. I did at my best recall was 12 "sets" with my new FoxPro Inferno.(avg. 45-50 minutes ea.) I have called up exactly (1) Hawk. Spent 3 days hunting Javelina near Deming, NM. Lots of sign, no luck. Saw a couple really nice Muley bucks. Got a little more predator calling to do before giving up . And I'm about to embark on a quest to kill a mature, big, nasty long tuskered boar hog with my bow. Oh, and fishing, don't forget those Redeyes, Shellcrackers and Bluegills. Did I mention I LOVE to hunt and fish? You can sure kill a hog just about anywhere in south baldwin county.

I keep notes of each hunt and I just counted them. I went 18 afternoons this year. I just can't get after them like I used to.
I saw 73 does and 24 bucks for an average of seeing 5.39 deer per hunt.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Broke my elbow the weekend before bow season. So that kicked me in the ass the first 8 weeks of the season. I hunted about 6 times this year. Normally id have about 20-25 sits in a season

About a dozen sits saw deer every time and killed a 130" 9pt the first time I went. 6-8 years ago I wouldn't have missed a day if I could get out of work in time. Now I enjoy chasing a 2.5 year old young'n around more than I do sittin in a deer stand. Turkey huntin will be a different story though!

I hunted 30 days with 34 sets. Killed one buck and two doe with my bow. I keep up with hunter frequency at the club I operate and always find it interesting to review the data each year. As a club we had 433 sets during the season. Our most frequent member hunted 52 days with 70 sets, which was more than our bottom 7 members combined. We actually had two members that did not hunt a single day. As a result of keeping up with the hunts, I limited number of days that could be hunted each week to 4 days. Next year, likely going down to 3 to keep the pressure down.

I would imagine folks like to take vacation and make it a 4 day weekend.

Hunted a total of 34 times this season. Most of that was in bow season and early rifle. I hunted a total of 3 days in January and February combined. Saw 209 deer in those 34 sets. That averages out to just over 6 deer/sit. Not bad at all. Several of those were with my boys.

Hunted about 40 days, some hunts just an hr or so. Saw close to 120 deer all season. Had the opportunity to take 2 does and 1 decent 8. Glad to get some rest before the start of turkey season

Probably 40 - only hunt gun season. I wasn't able to spend the night at camp as much as I usually can, so I did a lot of driving to get that done.

I think I did around 80 sits. I killed what I consider a giant on January 5th and just went and watched most days after that.

Not sure but, I'm still hunting. March 15th goose ends... I started with elk in August, moved to deer in Oct. Then, back to elk (LOP/damage Tags). Ducks and geese as well

I sat a total of probably 20 times and saw deer every time except the 3 times i hunted my "big buck" spot. I didn't see anything but a fox there. Still never connected until the last day of the season. Got my first bow kill with a small doe, but i was proud after getting shafted so many times all season!

I didn't bother to count. I'd estimate 30 sits give or take.
